Teacher Dedication

This week at the primary staff meeting, Kristen McDermott who has been taking an online Montessori course, shared some of what she learned.  Then the faculty participated in a  'lesson study'.  Erin Mergil was the teacher and Jennifer Graham played her student.   She gave a reading lesson on the sound of 'f' and 'ph'.  After the lesson, the teachers were asked to share what they witnessed and what they wanted to know more about.  After going around the circle of teachers who commented a couple times, the presenting teacher also shared her reflections about what she did and how the lesson was presented and received. I admire that our experienced and talented faculty is always learning.
