Kindergarten Pinning

Each year the kindergarten students receive a special pin to acknowledge their leadership year in the Primary.  They sing two songs, one in Spanish and then they each take the microphone and introduce themselves and what their favorite work is to do.  They shake hands with me and their teachers as each of their names are called.  Afterwards, there is a lovely breakfast and parents and children have the opportunity to socialize.   This ceremony brings our community together, teaches children about public presentation, gives them the opportunity to speak in public, learn to shake hands and be part of a special ceremony.
